Hosting Uptime
We host all of our web products on high speed servers that are optimized for stability. They are managed by professionals 24/7/365 in case of any server issues. Although our past uptime is very high, servers, like all computers, have issues such as hard drive failures. We commit to doing our absolute best to get back online in the case of any downtime. We are not, however, legally responsible for any downtime caused by our products. This includes loss of business, or other similar scenarios. We are committed to our churches, and have years of experience hosting websites, but cannot be held legally responsible for the case of technical issues that are out of our control.

Spam Policy/Content Liability Exclusion/Server Usage Policy
Any content or software you put on our servers must be 100% legal. Any content that is illegal, such as music copyright infringement, is not allowed on our servers. Also any form of SPAM email practices are strictly prohibited. Sites abusing this policy will be suspended or terminated at our discretion. In addition, any church account using an unfair amount of server resources may be temporarily suspended until we can diagnose the problem. Examples of this would be a church website with an error that is causing the entire server to slow to a crawl or crash. Although extremely rare, we reserve the right to make these decisions for the overall good of our customers.

Payment Details
All subscriptions placed with Easy Church Tools are automatically recurring. If you would like to cancel your plan, please let us know and we will do so right away. No refunds are given for unused time left on subscriptions, or for past payments except in case of billing error. Also, no refunds will be given on design or setup fees once the work has begun. If you have any questions or issues with these policies, please contact us.

Our Payment Processors
We process payments through the following methods: 2Checkout.com, Authorize.net, and Paypal. All recurring subscriptions are handled by these companies. Your payment information is safe with our 3rd party payment processors and is kept locked down. We never see your credit card number, or have any access to it. We are not responsible for errors or issues caused by these companies. We will do our absolute best to fix any problems ASAP in the rare case of an issue.

Buyout Option
As a courtesy to our churches, we provide a $100 buyout option on our Connect Web product for those looking to move their website to 3rd party servers after the first year. Once a period of one year has been reached, you are welcome to choose the $100 buyout option. If still within the first year, to leave our servers, the church must also pay the remaining total of the 12 months of Connect Web service at $30/mo (Up to $360 total). If you need assistance with this process, we are available to help at our normal consulting rate of $40/hr. Please note that our podcasting product Connect Podcast may not be compatible with all hosting companies due to the special way podcasting servers are configured. Please contact us for more information on this issue.

Please note there are no cancellation fees of any kind. These fees mentioned above only apply to those who wish to host their own site. We have these fees in place due to our highly subsidized up-front website costs. Without this policy, we would not be able to provide such affordable web products for our churches.
